OOPS!! Subway fails....
Today I did a mystery shop where I had to reveal myself. I went to a Subway, and I was supposed to order food and see if they offered me some soup b/c they're having this big soup promotion. No one offered me soup. And they were also supposed to have signs every where saying they were having a big soup promotion. There were no signs. I was really hoping they would ask me and have signs b/c if they did I got to give them a certificate saying, "CONGRATULATIONS!" and the sales associate will get a $10 Target gift card and the store will go in a drawing for everyone to get $10 gift cards. That would've been enjoyable.
However, I had to ask for the manager and give them a card that said, "OOPS!" Fun, awkward times. They were really stinkin' busy, too, b/c it was at a truck stop, so the poor girl didn't have time to listen to me tell her she didn't do what she was supposed to do.
The whole point of mystery shopping is that it's a MYSTERY! Why did I have to reveal myself? A shy, non-confrontational person like me is not made for that. I could feel my face getting red. And I have rosacea, so you can bet it was super red. But, luckily, they were nice. I told them they did a good job, they just didn't ask me if I wanted soup, so hopefully, they didn't hate me.
Oh, in the instructions I was given it said, "Use 'unsuccessful' to describe the outcome of the shop. Do not use the word 'loser.'" haha Sorry, LOSERS, but you suck at your job! OOPS! Here's your stupid card, LOSERS!! Baha! Who would do that? Did they really need to put that in there?
Good news is, I get extra money b/c it was far away and they gave me a mileage bonus. Woot! I haven't done one of those in so long... look out, Laredo... I'm after YOU!

Oh, and did I mention I had both kids with me? I was a little overwhelmed and flustered, but whatever. I getz da money.
It was also great fun to be stared at by truckers. Not. It must be this new va va voom bra. ha!
