Stew-pid Ran-Dumb Stuff

I've got a Lauren throwing a fit in the other room b/c she told me she wanted to watch Blue's Clues and after 2 minutes said she didn't want Blue's Clues, she wanted Mickey Mouse. I had just turned off Mickey Mouse for Blue's Clues, so I told her no. It sounds like she's dying in there. 2 year olds are so weird.

I haven't really posted much besides the 30 day thingy-ma-bobber. Here's some random stuff that's happened lately:

1) I went to Lowes the other day for gardening supplies. One man stopped to tell me while I was in the self-checkout line that my hair was beautiful. Shortly thereafter, the guy at the self-checkout (I bought spray paint, and he had to confirm I was over 18) told me I had gorgeous eyes. It felt NICE! I gotta go to Lowes more often. :)

2) Andrew took the kids and I on a work trip the other day. You can read all about it on my Laredo Blog. It was a great, fantastic, wonderful day. I loved it.

3) Last night Andrew and I were going to go on a date since I'm leaving for 2 weeks. (Going to Mississippi and Alabama. YEAH!) Unfortunately, Lauren got a really high fever. His sister said she'd watch the kids for a little while so we could run some errands. Everything went wrong. It was frustrating. But I'm glad I got to spend a little time with my hubby before I leave.

4) My bra broke yesterday. I washed it in the washer, and the strap wrapped around a bunch of stuff and stretched it out. That was one of the things we had to buy. I got this one that says it will make my boobs "va va voooom!" All I could think of when I looked in the mirror was Rita from Power Rangers saying, "Make my monster groooow!" except I put "boobs" in for "monster." I'm a little weird. But it made me laugh.

5) Evan and I planted a bunch of different seeds in pots, and it's so exciting to see them come up. We check them every day to see what new plants have popped up. I also bought a hibiscus plant, and the blooms on it are beautiful. I really love plants. I don't know why I've gotten this sudden immense love for them, but I have. I enjoy taking care of them and seeing them thrive. It's exciting to me.

6) Evan gave Andrew and I a picture he colored, and then as he walked away, he said, "Well, enjoy the pictures I gave you." We thought it was funny. What 4 year old uses the word "enjoy?"

7) Lauren finally calmed down, and I gave her hugs. She said she loves me. :) I love to hear her say that. It sounds more like, "I wub you." She has the sweetest little voice.

Well, I really can't think of much else. My brain is all a mess thinking about our 16 hour drive tomorrow. Bleeecch. We're leaving at 4am. Poor Andrew will have to spend 2 weeks without his family. Poor fellah. I wish he could go. :(
