I was just watching The Phantom of the Opera and turned on the subtitles so I could actually understand what they're singing. Anyway, I was reading the words of "The Point of No Return," and yowza... those are some steamy lyrics. Couple that with me reading about Mr. Darcy all day, and I'm ready for my husband to come home. HA!
Sorry. I know. Too much information.
I've been putting off updating b/c it's been so long now since I have and the amount of things that have happened are overwhelming to think about putting into words. Not that anything monumental has happened, really. Just thanksgiving and normal every day stuff... but it's too much for my journal mind to process. "Should I write about this? No, that was too long ago. This? That? This? That? Oh, no... I've gone cross-eyed."
ew, I just wiped my face on my shoulder and it was wet. dang my kids' snotty noses...
I've been wanting to put up Christmas decorations, but I feel that would require me to clean house, and I just can't make myself do it.
Me = Lazy Bum
Andrew, being the wonderful husband he is, has offered to help me clean house tonight so I can decorate tomorrow without worrying about cleaning. Isn't he sweet? Pretty much the best husband ever. Oh, and he just called saying he was on his way home and asked what was for dinner. I told him I'd go find something and we hung up. He then called back 30 seconds later and said that the leftovers we had in the fridge would be okay with him, so I wouldn't have to cook. He said I could just have a worry free night.
Who has the best husband in the world? That's right... ME!
I can't figure out how to maneuver my living room furniture so that my Christmas tree will be in the front bay window... Andrew says to just put it in a back window, but I just can't do that. I won't be able to see it when I drive by our house, and that's my favorite part. I bought another strand of fat colored lights so this year our lights may go across the entire front of our house. I'm excited! I know it's not the fancy lights that dance to the music on your radio (those are freakin' awesome!), but this will be only the second year of my life to have lights on the outside of my house. And I can't wait to see Evan's face when he sees them.
"A Christmas tree?! I wuv it!" haha
Anyway, I'm rambling about Christmas light placement, and I know that's not extremely interesting, so I'll stop. good-bye, journal people!
love,
evan,
christmas,
andrew
