Today I was Robin Hood! Only not as good. Today I saw my friends Becca, Tom, and Chris. Becca and I had planned to go ice skating, but the rink wasn't opened. So that plan didn't work out. Instead Tom found an indoor archery place in our town. It was then decided that we would go there.
When we got to the place, it is called Ace Archers, and it is on the second floor of a building. We temporarily got lost on the way up. But we corrected ourselves. I also found out that I shoot lefty, even though I am right handed. Becca and Tom are the same way. The archery coach even told me I had a natural posture and stance.
When it came to shooting, Becca, Tom, and I were about equal. But Chris, being a boy scout and spending many years at summer camp had to show us up. He got the most points. We shot targets from 10 yards and 20 yards. I was able to get a bullseye from 10 yards and 20 yards. I also learned yet again how bad my eyes are. When I was shooting from 20 yards, I couldn't see where on the target my arrow hit. But all my friends could. They would tell me to aim near the same arrow. But I was like, "I can't because I see the target, I just don't see the arrow sticking out of it." It is probably a safer if I stick to stationary targets, and never try moving targets.
