(no subject)
I've become a little impatient and restless w/ the whole guy thing...yeah I know I'm only 17 and a Senior in high school and I've got my whole life in front of me but hear me out..
I see a bunch of my friends, not to mention TV and movies, where people have boyfriends when they need someone for a shoulder to cry on, to laugh w/, or just your usual merriment :) I see that and I'm like, "boo hoo...I would like that" Then I see all this drama goin on...like for instance my best friend and her boyfriend, and I'm just so glad I don't have to deal w/ that! I also realize...I don't need a boyfriend for a shoulder to cry on, to laugh w/, or of course..the usual merriment. I have an awesome family and awesome friends! Not to mention an amazing, unbelievable, and loving God! My brothers and sisters mean so much to me..they're such Godly examples that I really look up to. Let me take a min to let them know what each one of them bring to my life..
*Leah*- :sigh: Leah Peeah Diarrhea..but I like to call her LeLe now! She is so funny! Whenever I'm in a situation where I should be standing up for myself or what I believe in,(whether it's Bush, Jerry Falwell, Christianity or anything in general) I usually think of her saying, "excuse me...oh no you better mind your biz!" :) I'm glad that I now have the phrase "...I'll rip you a new one" only people who know my sister would prolly know that...Even though we're 10 years apart..it doesn't feel that many years. We've really become a lot closer the past few years since she married RyRy and moved here...and I'm so happy for that! I'll love her forever
*Todd*- Toddy Woddy stuck in the Potty..yeah we have pretty unusual nicknames in the Hampton family! Todd has always been a staunch Christian in the family..I've looked to him for spiritual guidance and many other things. His walk w/ Christ..i guess you could say..got me started in my walk w/ Christ. He was in a band called Image (which later changed to Beggar's Fortune) for about 5 years. Being that music is what I want my major to be and what I want to pursue, it's really fortunate that I had a brother that could write songs..since that's where I'm struggling...thank you Toddie! Love you!
*Rachel*- Mama! Now I know most of ya'll are thinkin you pronounce it the way a baby might. Umm, no. You pronounce it "mimi"..don't ask..it's a Mama, Poobie, Buddy thing :) Wow..where do I start w/ her? She's awesome! what can i say? Speaking of that guy thing, she's really been there to support me and give me words of encouragement! I guess you could say she knows how I feel...but she doesn't worry about it! I think I'm the closest w/ her besides Evan..even though she made us be her slaves sometimes...putting her clothes in the washer, making her food/drink, and numerous other things! But none the less she's my lucky penny (<~~~Friends reference) and it sucks that she's in Arkansas bc I miss her so...and love her so much
*Evan*-Eer! EEEE!! haha Buddy I miss you! I know I know...18 days! Although we used to fight like all the time I really think it made us closer...you slut :) hehe j/k..Now that you're gone I miss you! I know that you've stood up for me when I needed it and you prolly will for the rest of my life..at least you better! I'm glad that you've been there for me to just hang out w/ on Friday and Saturday nights watching movies or playing Nintendo like a bunch of dorks w/ no social life! I'm really liking your new spiritual stands on things...I really respect it and it inspires me! Keep it up...and I'm praying for you and V! I love Buddy! MMM!
of course I can't forget my parents! They're the best parents in the world and I can't put the way I feel about them into words...bc basically there are none! I love them so much and don't know what I would do without them!!
I'm not gonna name off all my friends but you know who you are! I love you guys and don't ever forget it! I'm there for you since you've been there for me!! *muah*
