It's somebody's birthday.....
I was going to do my usual pic spam, but that couldn't possibly express my feelings on this day. So I will settle for this....
I like to talk about Richard. I like to look at him, to pick on him, to make fun of his made-up words, and to talk about his (gorgeous) ass. But even as I do all that, deep down I really like and respect him. Maybe some people don't think too highly of him. But this man was once a boy who had dreams! He could have been like any other boy, playing in a garage band, getting into trouble, and growing up to work in a factory (or in his case, a restaurant, haha!).
Richard got where he is now through hard work. Not that he hasn't played along the way, I'm sure! But he is now successful beyond (probably) his wildest dreams. Because he cares. Because it's what he wanted so badly.
He is talented. Rammstein would not have their sound if not for him. And whether or not Emigrate is to your liking, it is a well thought out and well executed project. No, he's not the best singer in the world, although I personally love his voice. His voice works for his music. And he has balls just for doing it, for putting himself out there at the risk of being ridiculed. As, unfortunately, he has been....
I often talk about Richard being a prima donna. I do it because: 1) it's fun 2) he sets himself up for it! 3) it's true?? and 4) I really like him. Don't they always tell little girls that if a boy picks on you it's because he likes you?? Maybe it's the same for big boys, when a girl picks on them.... :P
Aside from all the silliness - I adore, respect, and admire this guy. And so I say.....
Happy Birthday Richard!!
I wish him all the best, now and always. As stupid as it may sound, he has played a big part in the many adventures I've had in my life. There are no words that can sufficiently thank him for that.
And with that, I will leave you with this.......
