Saw Hitchhiker's yesterday. It was pretty good. Not amazing, but not teh suck, either. It could have been a lot better, I think, but it still had a number of laugh-out-loud moments and Martin Freeman was totally cute as Arthur, which is really all I was hoping for.
In other news, my great-aunt Mary Alice died this weekend. She was ninety-four and had been in a nursing home for the last few years, so it's not a shock or anything. She was the last surviving family member from my grandparents' generation, though. She had polio as a child and had to wear leg braces her whole life, but that woman had the constitution of a horse and the temperament of a saint.
The funeral's friday, but I don't think we're going. Part of me would love to go back to Heidelberg again, but I think it would just be too hard being there without my mom. We always went together to go visit the Mississippi relatives and I don't want to face them without her. And since they couldn't make it to my mom's funeral I feel less of an obligation to force myself to go.
