I am considering maybe signing up for
leverageland. I dunno, though. I've never done a Land Comm before. What if I don't like it? What if I don't have time? What if I freeze up and none of the challenges inspire me? Why am I making this so hard? Urgh.
In other news, goddamn, it's hot here. I know there's been like hurricanes and flooding and power outages and whatnot up north and I'm real sorry about that but ... we're sweating down here, people, and I'm gonna need to talk about that for a minute. It's been over 100 degrees here every single day of August except one. And a goodly portion of July, too. You know how many 100+ days we get in an average year around here? Eight. We've had something like 40 this year. Not okay. We're supposed to have humidity. That's our thing. It's hot, but not THAT hot because our humidity is so bad that it feels hotter than it is. Except not this year. This year it's actually that hot AND it feels even hotter. Also, it doesn't freaking cool off at night here, so the average temp most days is above 90. That's right, the AVERAGE of the high and low temp is still above 90 damn degrees. Again, I say urgh.
Okay, I'm done bitching now.
To make up for it, here is a gif of Eliot tearing the head off a pinata.
You're welcome.
