I don't have much to say, I really just updated to make note of the fact that today my Mom was laying on the floor singing about Malibu Barbie. Haha I don't want to forget that...
I was in Olean yesterday getting some shopping done and I bought a Buddha...sort of spur of the moment, but I liked it and I know my mom always had a couple that she thought gave her good luck. I like the idea behind them. The lady behind the counter was on the phone saying "I'm just having a very bad day." No one ever really goes in that store, it's filled with really expensive lamps and tables with beautiful artwork that everyone likes but no one spends money on. I was looking at all the little buddhas when she said that, and shortly after she hung up and said "Anything that doesn't have a tag is 3$ honey." And I thought, anyone that can be nice to me when they're having a bad day deserves to have something good happen to them. And I picked up my little Buddha and bought it. And told her to have a nice day on my way out.
