I haven't written in a month (wow has it really been that long?) so I figured I'd do so today. Life's been pretty great overall since my last entry. Nothing too exciting has happened.
Over February vacation I took driver's ed with Emily. It was pretty fun. We decided that Rhode Island people were pretty stupid. And I cried so many times in driver's ed, especially when our teacher told us to imagine our own funeral (to get us to wear our seat belts) and this movie about a girl that was killed by a drunk driver. There was this really cute kid from Rhode Island that I sat next to for three of the days. He had crazy-ass hair, it was great! He was funny too. Especially when he was telling me and Emily how to properly bail out of a car. Then there was this other kid from Rhode Island that was in love with Emily. He kept "reading" her sweatshirt. Yeah, uh-huh.
I went to the movies a lot over vacation. I saw Date Movie (so terrible! do not see it!!), Pink Panther (Andrew really liked it, I just thought it was okay), When a Stranger Calls (SOOOOOOOO scary! Emily and I screamed so many times! the ending was especially creepy.), and Firewall (again something Andrew wanted to see, not me. I spent most of the movie pretending Harrison Ford was really hot like when he was in Indiana Jones and Star Wars.). I also saw Failure to Launch this past Sunday. It was really cute. I loved Paula's friend who had crazy mood swings and wanted to kill the mockingbird. She was great!
I started volunteering at the library this past Saturday. It's pretty fun, being surrounded by books and organizing them. I'm doing it every Saturday now, it'll be nice. Plus then I can get new books every week. I've read so many good books lately. In Her Shoes is amazing! I haven't seen the movie yet but I'm going to. But I loved it. Maggie is great, in the beginning I liked Rose better but after Maggie started living at Princeton and reading a lot I liked her. I also read The Lovely Bones which is now possibly my most favorite book ever! Seriously, everybody needs to read it. It's perfect. I could not put it down, seriously. I just started Memoires of a Giesha last night. It's really good so far, not as good as In Her Shoes and the Lovely Bones though.
Mom and I started going to yoga class on Thursday evenings. It's not the quickest way to lose weight but at least it's exercise. And I need to exercise more than twice a week in gym where I really don't do anything.
Progress reports came out the other week. I have two C's in Spanish and History, three B's in Humor and Satire, Math and Science, and A's in gym and video. Not bad, but not great. As long as I get Spanish and History up to B's I'll be in good shape. I want to make the honor roll again.
Last Saturday was Andrew's and my two month aniversary. We didn't really do anything special, he picked me up from the library and took me to the mall so I could get presents for my mom and Emily since their birthdays are in a few weeks. I got my mom's gift but have yet to get something for Em. Need to do that soon. Andrew was supposed to take me to see Aquamarine on Sunday but he's sick. Either I'm sick or he's sick or we're both sick. It's weird. But the past two months and three days have been amazing, I really can't remember what it was like without him.
Prom is coming up so soon! I'm so excited! 18 more days! I've got my dress, it's really pretty. It's a green apple color with beading on the chest. It's actually hard to explain. But I love it. I had to take it to get it hemmed and have the straps fixed but now it's absolutely perfect! I'm so excited for prom, but I'll be sad when it's over. Probably because prom is what got me and Andrew together, so it's special I guess.
