V part 1 (sat)

V festival was fantastic, far from "getting it out of our systems" it is firmly back there, even though I can barely walk today and am bruised from top to toe. nMFBs (non-Mysterious Festival Bruises). The fun and frolics started when we had to park the car an hour from where we were camping, and carry the world's greatest (but heaviest) tent, airbeds, clothes, drinks etc across muddy fields in our festival wellies. We eventually found the last remaining pitch big enough for the tent and not next to the toilets and the heavens opened. At least we were prepared. Our lovely neighbour Jaffa helped pitch the tent and gave us celebratory vodka afterwards, sweet.

Sat was a mish mash of bands, We Are Scientists, Kula Shaker, Ordinary Boys, Keane (well one song just to humour me), The Presets (wicked, playing gain on the 31st with the Suze), bit of Beck and the absolute highlight, Radiohead. Plus a few bits inbetween.
