I'm currently working on a large-scale digital painting in Corel Painter 11 - here's some progress shots.
I'm using various brushes in the 'Oils' section - and having a lot of fun, too!
The initial sketch, using the 'pencil' tool.
I started by laying down the background - then started blocking in the tones.
Working in some of the shading and beginning to shape.
Working in the deeper tones and tightening up some of the shaping.
More refinement of detail, tones and shape.
This image is not yet finished, but I'm steadily working at it, treating it more like a 'real/traditional' painting that a digital. I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience and I hope you enjoy the progress shots! More soon :)
