Ali, from my distric back home who is living in Beauvais, France, came to visit me for a week of snowboarding because when we spent the 9 hour plane ride together coming to france we made the choise that it had to be done, so it was. she arrived late saturday night after i had already snowboarded all that day with the the exchange students in my town and another guy from mexico that lives in another city, we took the bus up. this bus is how i go snowboarding everytime, you arrive at the bus station eary in the morning and buy your tickets, it is basicly just a place full of skiers and snowboarders i find it pretty cool. so once you have your like 2€ ticket to take the bus you go find your bus throw on your skis and get taken to the ski station of your choise, i think it is pretty cool. then on the way home you go back to where you were dropped of and take the bus home, really not a bad deal. some times when you do that the lift ticket is even cheeper... average cost of the day 24€, and that is for a BIG station! the little ones are like 11€! so anyways ali came saturday night and my week of snowboarding begain! we went up again on sunday to one of the biggest stations around were i live; L'alpe d'huez, Carlos host parents drove all of us being (sibel, me, ali, carlos, ramiro, the parents, and their son) but when we got there the weather was so bad that we did one run and went back to the car had a massive snowball fight and headed home. monday i showed ali around grenoble, and Tuesday Carlos ali, and I all went back up snowboarding to 'Les 7 (sept) Laux' We took about 1 zillion pics and videos all of which i will send home ASAP! it was such a beautiful day sooo sooo sooo much sun!!! i belive that is when my mask line started developing! so then ali and i returned to that station again on wednsday for another really really good day of snowboarding, but then again how could it not be... WE'RE IN THE ALPES!! After 2 days at the same station we wanted to switch it up for her last day there so we went to 'Chamrousse' (which very well might be the first station that i ever went to in france, but i dont know it is sooo big!!! ) and there was this MASSIVE sea of clouds, like we were in it, so we took a chair up and actuly ended up just on top of the clouds, so we took the run down it was not bad but disded we needed to say on top when we could not see 2 feet in frount of us. so we took the gondala up and stayed on top of the mountin all day! it was so beautiful, agian, all we could see where the clouds that we had broken though to be on top, and like the little tips of other mountins pooking out. but we were in the sun all day!!! very nice! then we took the gondala down (to scary to not see where your going) and took the bus home. of corse after buying fun stuff to put on our blazers!!! then ali went home Friday evening and i have not been snowboarding sence, but i should be going up again soon this week (oh yeah, im totaly on vacation!!! 2 weeks for no reason!) i will try to keep you updated better, but really not that much is going on over here, other then i have been in france for 6 MONTHS as of Saturday the 25th!!!!!
BISOUS TOUT LE MONDE!!!
