let the reason be love
Surprisingly, I had a great day despite the seemingly mishaps that transpired late wednesday night. Earlier this morning, I went to Pisay for the science fair, viewed the exhibits and listened to the students "defend" their researches. It was uplifting to see that certain spark when these high school students talked about their scientific researches--so full of positive energy and hope. And of course I again remembered my high school days (feeling lola basyang na naman ako, EMO!). Hahaha, back then pa pala, obvious na that this was the path that I was gonna take. Ang galing, ngayon ko lang na-realize. Hopefully, those students that I talked to at Pisay remain that way, never losing hope despite all difficulties (especially with scientific research in this country) and always persevering in their efforts to reach perfection despite the limitations. Well, see you in UP! :)
In my Bio 130 class naman, aside from dj leeza's short visit (haha!), today is one of those days when the students seemed more hardworking than usual. And even if I dont say it out loud, I was happy to see them that way, even if most of them doesn't feel like making fresh sections of plants, they were still TRYING HARD, even if I did not announce that I will be giving plus points. And yes, I really loved it when there were these super thin fresh cross sections shown to me. Hahaha hndi ako masyadong nagpahalata pero ang galing nun! Na-feel ko na din ung pakiramdam ni Ma'am Ungson dati sa bio 101 when a perfect section was made by Aimee Dalisay. Yung reaction nya that time was very memorable to all of us, para bang that moment was the peak of her teaching career. And to think that pinagtawanan namin un dati, tsk tsk. Anyway, I dont think na kanina na ung peak ng career ko wahahaha! Basta mas masaya talaga when you see students working and trying hard and not because of the extra points or the grade. Sana mas maraming batang ganun :)
Thursday ended with bonding over dinner and coffee at trinoma, with cecil and don. And it was all on them. Haha mas marap talaga pag libre ;)) Had loads of fun, esp with don animating their call center lingo and his "da moves" to us. =))
Hay, uber fun :D And this blog was all because I cant sleep. Nasobrahan na naman ako sa endorphins :)) Oh this will definitely be a happy weekend :D
Okay, thank You Lord for everything, even the mishaps (which were not that bad) that befall me. I see that all of these were necessary in one way or another. Pls give me the grace to always think in this light. :)
