My Failsafe boys have gotten me through some pretty rough times in the last year. More often or not, just through the knowledge that if I could get through the weeks I would get to see them again.
I'm in a lot better place now than I was, so the fact that I haven't seen them since the beginning of February ('cos the March tour was cancelled due to Matty having pneumonia) and wasn't going to get to see them until the beginning of June, didn't fill me with the dread of how I was going to manage without them.
They are on their first ever tour of Europe at the moment. 24 dates over 30 days in countries they have never played in before. I wish I could be with them, but mainland Europe is a little too far even for a seasoned traveller like me to venture.
But the happy bit is that I noticed the other day they had added a Preston gig to their diary for the middle of May and then this morning they have announced they have been added to the line-up for the Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds at the end of May. So this means I don't have to wait until the beginning of June, just 6 and a half weeks to go. Which is so much better than 10!!
