I just got back from Minibar. I don't think I can do it justice right now, because it's pretty imperative that I get my ass to bed, but all I can say is, I just spent $200 on dinner, and it totally felt worth it to me. From the first beet tumbleweed to the last saffron gumdrop, it was an adventure. As I told Ramentenshi afterward, "That was the most exciting thing I've done with my mouth in at least a year."* I'm going to go dream of olive-oil bonbons and passionfruit marshmallows for the next eight hours or so. Mercy.
