something important has been taken away. it was important to me before but has recently hit very close to home, because i found out that a relative of mine is gay. i'm so happy to hear about him and his partner.
and i want him to be able to marry who he wants, if he wants.
a small disclaimer: i know that not every christian is against gay marriage, or is as violently against it as this picture implies. the article i used for this specifically addressed extreme christian opposition. i did choose the article myself, but i am aware that they are not the only supporters of proposition 8.
