My day..
So today I went to school, and actually learned something in Biology. We took a test yesterday in Algebra and I wne to ask Mr.Burt what I made in like the middle of class and he told me "it's bad luck to know what you made beofre the end of class...it's tradition." It made me giggle. If anyone knows Mr.Burt you know how country he is and its hillarious, especially when he says "predicament". Too bad he's retiring after this year. Did absolutely nothing in 3rd period. Did nothing in 4th,but yesterday we did bench, flies, militaries, curls, and wheel barrel push ups. Now my abs are sore...not my arms..strange. My abs are getting really defined though :) I are happy. Of course we had to do work in Coach Strother's class, reviewed for our test and discussed a bunch of whatnot in history and took a test in Spanish in which I made a 95 on :D go me!
After that, I of course went to practice as usual, and worked my butt off. We started out with our streches, ran the feild, I warmed up pitching, I pitched a practice game for an inning then switched out with one of our new pitchers and played short.(I'm on Varsity, but he has me pitching for JV since they don't have one)Just JV was in the field since we have a game Tues. and Varsity doesn't. So Becca pitched that inning, he took us both off the mound and we didn't have any hitters, but Coach Jay just hit the ball different places. I took second for that one. Coach Strother could tell I was getting tired and gave me a break and switched me out with a new girl we have on the eam who hasn't been doing very well, and still didn't do very well when she got there, she's just not putting forth any effort. So once he got pissed with her I took second again and worked as hard as I possibly could. After we got done with that, we had to sprint the bases, jog the outside of the infield and jog the fence. Then I had to stay after practice until 6 because our pitching Coach came( it's Lori Gonzales...her husband is the assistant baseball coach at Alabama Southern). I did quite well and got my speed up a couple mphs. I was really worn out though. I have a sucky catcher too!!! I'll just shut up now.
Tomorrow's Friday!!! Yay! It's the weekend! We're having a 'Girl's night out' thing for Sara B. tomorrow since her b-day was on Tues. *cough cough* muhahaha! teehee!I better just hush before I spill the beans....anyway...we have a road block on Saturday from 8-12 around monroeville...fun, eh? NOT! We raise a bunch of money for our team though.
