Fanfiction Meme - Day 1
Okay, I am actually going to try to do this and post on all thirty days, can't promise though. :) Feel free to join in, I got this from jagnikjen but it's been going around a bit too. Here goes...
1 - How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?
I literally just stumbled upon fanfiction. It was about a week before the 6th Harry Potter book came out and I decided to have a look around for spoilers. I found a link to Sink Into Your Eyes and I didn't have a clue about fanfiction. The first fic I ever read was "Getting Over Harry Potter" by cwarbeck and that was me hooked. It took me nearly a year and a half of reading before I finally got the courage to write and post something myself for the Harry Potter fandom.
I think it's the fact that there's so much scope for writing in it that pulled me in. I mean, that fic was written before HBP came out and H/G was made official by JKR but it just opened up a whole new level for me. I've been completly hooked since then.
