INJURED AGAIN.
Hannah was at work, checking her list of patients for that afternoon. A few hexes, some potioned people... and an Auror, but not Derek. Still, maybe she should check someone else's list. Spotting Charles, or Charlie as she called him, Hannah headed over and grabbed his patient list. "Let me see this, Charlie" she said as she studied his list. Sure enough, she found Derek's name on his list.
"Hannah, how many times do I have to tell you that it's Charles and you cannot just grab my patient list, it's not-"
"Have you seen him yet?" Hannah interrupted him as she pointed to Derek's name. "What happened?"
Charles sighed and looked at Hannah. "No, I have not seen him yet. You know just as well as I that it's probably another general Auror injury."
Shoving the patient list back at Charlie, Hannah urged him to go and see Derek right then. "Or give him to me! I'll go check in on him."
"Now Hannah, I'll go see what's wrong with him right now. Calm down." He turned and headed to see that Auror, or Auror in Training. Whichever it was. But he quickly noticed that Hannah was following him. Honestly he could scarcely believe that he'd once thought that he and Miss Salix would make a good match. What was her problem!? Still, he didn't argue with her, it was much easier to just let her come along and then she would leave him alone.
"What did you do?" Hannah said to Derek, once they'd arrived at his room. Her voice was a mix of concern and reproach, as she did not like to see him there and hopefully Derek hadn't done anything too bad. She pushed past Charlie, ignoring his frown and grabbed Derek's hand as she looked him over.
