curmudgeons and diced celery!

i be sick.

the words of the two prophetesses ring true:

lo! and on that hallowed and most sacred day before the wintry freedom, the bespectacled one will succumb to the pressing shadow of infection. and there will be much mourning and gnashing of teeth. hair, ravaged by the beast of paper, will be miraculously spared as the bespectacled one spends her days dwelling in the deep pit of general grogginess and "chicken" noodle soup, unable to care about the most trivial things with... raffia work edging.

so spake the wise prophetesses (one of whom is now rather headachey and irritable)

alright, so it's not that bad. i took the lysine at the first sign of a sore throat (i tell yas, it works!) so i do think it could be worse. in any event, i will lie low tomorrow and try to rest it off so i'm not suffering from its lingering aftereffects when i'm up visiting the parents (that would be wretched, wouldn't it?)

anyways, going off to rest again. i'll leave you all with this little update concerning the westjet hangar:

"Today I feel numb. YVR has decided to not build the hangar behind the school. This is good news (for now anyway) for the kids. Instead, they are proceeding with the alternate location about 1000 feet south (we call it the south terminal). This is just geography and now affects a different group of Burkevillians."

oh great... i feel my headache coming back.

(after Christmas, i want to boycott westjet)

warmongering, insalubrity
