school has taken over my free time and my life. at the moment i've got one essay, lots of little make-work activities, and three group projects on the go. my hair is falling out in clumps and my eyes hurt from staring at the computer screen for most of the day. [gripe and complain, gripe, gripe!]

anyways, there is some fun involved in my madcap world of all work and little sleep (or ease of mind). while i was browsing around on the ALA website for a certain make-work activity, what should i stumble upon, but this lovely new promotional poster for reading:

written under it was:

Orlando Bloom Poster
LOTR Hearthrob

not kidding. dear God, i'd hope the library community would figure that one out on their own. i mean, look at those bulging arm veins!

*fellow libtechs with jealous boyfriends! (winks knowingly at cliomuse)... i would advise you not invest in one of these posters unless you want very bad things to happen to it!*

another fun item doodled during subject analysis/classification class today:

eh, it seemed silly at the time...

oh! in other news!

guess who holds a front row balcony ticket to the silent film the mark of zorro accompanied by the VSO on hallowe'en e'en? me! i would highly recommend that any of you without hallowe'en plans invest in this little soiree as they are always awesomely entertaining! (when i was seven, my mum and grandparents would take my sister and i to see the ones the VSO used to frequently put on. the thief of baghdad, sherlock holmes, charlie chaplin. if i was entertained by them at seven when i just started to read, i'm sure any adult with the attention span of a peanut could sit through it without feeling tortured.)

anyways, that's enough for now. i must focus on homework.

addendum: the other day, when i was waiting for the bus home from work, i saw a car drive by with a black coffin sticking out of its trunk. that was also highly amusing.

college, art, hallowe'en, movies, reading, odd..., homework
