Laptop Advice Needed!
Hello ladies and gentlemen of the intarwebs,
My laptop has died after a decent-enough innings of 3.5 years on very little RAM. I now need to replace it. Please help me pick something that is both very good and pretty cheap. (I'm starting to realise £450 is about the starting price, but if I can get better, cheaper, I'd love to.)
I don't game, so I don't need insane amounts of memory/graphics card, however, I do want a lot a memory for music and photos, and would also like a wireless card, CD/DVD burning, and if at all possible I'd like to avoid Vista. Is that possible/smart these days? Also, if at all possible, a laptop which uses very little electricity would be nice.
