Degree Results, Yadda-Yadda
Degree results today: 2:1, and less than two points off a first. UEA has messed me about various times, messed up 3 units I took, plus they knew about my mono health problems, but they weren't feeling generous enough to take all this into account and bump me up that one-and-a-bit points. Still, a 2:1 is all I'll ever really need, it was pure intellectual greed to want anything more. I have now done the intellectual dick-swinging thing. I now know I'm a beta. From here on in: I will try to only make myself sick for things that are either necessary or things that I truly enjoy.
But also out today were the first copies of STORY: a short story anthology I'm in. I am now a published author. Guess which of the two bits of news I'm more excited about.
Also: gorgeous weather, the garden is in bloom, I have discovered XKCD, and tonight I will commence experiments with habanero chillies.
