Stormy stuff....
Wow, we had 75 mph gusts here early this morning and four inches of rain total.
Getting Rob to work was interesting since half of Elizabeth City was flooded. I managed though...and also managed to pick up my contacts, a very good thing since I'd been wearing the left one about 3 months longer than I was supposed to.
Amusing storm incident...The neighbors have this huge trampoline for their kids. This morning it was almost in the road but was stood up on its side and held in place by two pine trees. I had to photograph the sight.
My shoulder is rather pained at the moment--I don't know if it's from driving in high winds or having my arm yanked by the wind when I opened the storm door at work. Either way, it's unpleasant.
Errf...time for bed.
