Nothing says female empowerment like repairing a gas heater by following an article you found online.
We made a request to the gas company for a service call last week...They promised to be out as soon as possible.
Last night it was in the 20s and we were still relying on space heater and spending $3 or so a day on kerosene.
Still no service call.
So, I googled.
I was pretty sure it was dust clogging the pilot so all I had to do was find diagrams to see what I needed to remove and clean.
Half an hour later, I have heat.
Take that, males of the world!
Now, I just hope the damned thing KEEPS working and all this blustering doesn't leave me feeling very foolish...and cold.
