Birthday

So yesterday was my birthday, I can't believe I'm 21 now, how insane is that? I had a good day, went to the cinema and for dinner with the family in the morning. In the afternoon I went to Steph's and spent the afternoon and most of the night watching Star Trek Voayger and pigging out on more crap than I really ought to have eaten (and yet I'm ( Read more... )

Oh wow! Happy birthday! You're my age now! :D Glad you had fun!

Man, I haven't watched Voyager in ages! Janeway and Chakotay were so totally meant to be! I was so happy they corrected (by getting rid of) the Seven/Chakotay relationship in the book, cause that last episode really made me not want to watch the show anymore.

Thanks!

I love Voyager but I hate the finale, End Game in my opinion was a cop out finish. They rushed the end to make it fit their schedule and didn't do it justice. C7 is possibly my most hated ship, yes I hate it more than Sheyla lol, and I was glad to see it corrected in the book. That said, they've now klled off Kathryn in the pocket book series *seethes* Oh well, good thing I don't read them and so don't care lol.

C/7 made absolutely no sense what-so-ever! They barely interacted, Chakotay didn't even trust her, and why the heck would Seven be interested in him anyway when it was obvious the person she relied on most was the Doctor! I totally understand why you hate it more than Sheyla!

WHAT?! They killed Kathryn? I used to read the books, but I stopped after a while... now I'm glad I did. What is it with these people and destroying our happy places?! *grumbles*

Not only did they never interact but Chakotay was old enough to be her father. Seven had a much better chemistry with the doctor, they would have made a good couple. She was like Kathryn's daughter as well in a way, that could only have made the betrayal all the worse. I don't know what the writers were thinking when they threw C7 at us in the last episode.

Yep, they killed her, a pretty meaningless death from what I heard too. I honestly don't care, I prefer to make my own canon.

Oh man, when you put it like that you are so right! Now it's just wrong and kinda sick too! Chakotay dated his step daughter!!!! o_O :gags:

Ah meaningless deaths... the writers seem to love those. I like your canon better than theirs. :)

Ewww, Chakotay dated his step daughter, that's gross *giggles* I think he must have been having a midlife crisis lol.

I like my canon better too lol. No meaningless death, no rediculous pairings, no crap unjust endings.
