(no subject)
This was quite possibly the best Christmas I´ve ever had.
I´ll post a list becase Iøm lazy
- lit the candles on the christmas tree and then sung and danced around it and through the house in the line. It may sound childish, but it was very enjoyable. I should add that the day before we made ...man what´s it called. A Christmas tree holder?? the thing that makes it stand up, and cut down the christmas tree.
- We opened gifts afterwards, and with ten people here it was madness. Thomas was so excited for all of it (he´s 9).
-We had a large Danish dinner, including white and red cabbage (which I think are awful, but I ate it anyways because thatøs what you do at Christmas) and a roast which was from their farm, and patatoes, boiled and what they call brown patatoes which are covered in a sweet brown sauce and sugar. I happilly ate the patatoes because they were a pain in the ass to peel, and eating them gratified my struggles.
-We then had rice alaman however thatøs spelled in Danish (all the while through the meal, weøre trying to speak danish.. .sad attempts but we´´re slowly learning and it´s fun). Janus )yanoos) won the mandlegave (the prize) ...which was more chocolate. We actually ate before but my memory is out of order..
We helped Thomas set up his race car track, which he was also very excited for.
I pet the cats. This seems trivial, but if you have ever met my cat, you would understand that I´m very deprived.. and by that I mean she´s a little ruffian, who would rather wrestle than sit down nicely (unless there are promises of food...) So merely petting the cats is pure joy for me. Itøs sad to watch me though, when they go to nuzzle me I jump thinking theyøre going to start playfighting.
We went to a Danish church service. The church was gorgeous, and I liked following along with the words everyone was singing. Eventually I became more brave and tried to sing along too. the vowels are difficult though and I don´t always know what sound to make so sometimes I would sit there on long notes altering my vowel to fit with everyone elses. I thought it was kind of funny. There was no room when we got there so we just had to stand in a doorway - I could really see, there was a column in the way )
We played uno when we got home, and I played batgammon with my aunt who beat me by 3... rawr. OH. and I SUCK at foosball but itøs so much fun anyways. If I ever play with you, never put me on defense. I think I move the goalie away from the net more than I save goals... having said that Im getting much better.
We also got to ea´t the confections we had made the night before out of marzipan, nougat, chocolate and nuts. That was fun too...
I donøt think I´ve eaten so much candy in my life. It´s ridiculous.
AND Janus and Anders got swords and were dueling at certain points during the night. It was very funny to watch. I got to try once against Anders, and he kept killing me. BUT ONCE I ACTUALLY GOT HIM!!!
We went on a walk today along the coastal line. It was extremely beautiful. Not in the stereotypical kind of beach way; there are rocks and seaweed on the shore from when the tide changes- but it has such an incredible beauty despite it. Needless to say my legs are tired, but I have so much energy today.
I just hope I donøt get incredibly fat from everything I ate yesterday =D. I kid. I´d work it off easily at any rate.
Okay, so Iøm sure I forgot a milliuon things, but Iøll just have to write them later.

Oh and it´s my parent´s 30th Wedding anniversary on the 29th... so congratulations to them (even though they don´t read this) =P
Okay! time to go.. It´s 617 here and I´m starving (so that would be 1217 for most of you..)
