(no subject)
Just had a brass quintet concert/Christmas Carol thinger with Hamilton B'leafs. It went well. I pretty much blew my lip, but even for that, I played reasonably well. I'm happy with it. Rick came and played tuba for us, so that was good, and I think he's coming back to play with us in January. I guess Charlie's been moved to trombone.
The concert put me in a much better mood. The world is smiling again! ...maybe that's just me.
I want to play more! You know... besides the fact that my lip can't take it.
Teacher's college applications are a bitch, and I'm REALLY cutting it close. I should have mailed them today, but I was so dispirited that I could barely get anything done. I'm pretty much done all of Ottawa's now, except for editing and my final attribute. I suck at promoting myself. I just don't like doing it.
Megan comes home tomorrow!
I'm going to Henry's musical with Laura on Sunday! ...if we get back early enough (aka 1:30 AM or earlier) I'm going to MMT's Christmas party after that!
I'm glad Meegers is coming home. Life is getting lonely over here in east Hamilton.
