YAY!!!
i've had quite the exciting weekend:
on friday i hung out w/ angela, liz, and julie, and we went to see fever pitch
on saturday our loft was being built, although it was on a tremendous delay. instead of starting around 5ish, the building didn't start till 10pm. my roomie's cousin, sister, and brother-in-law were here to build it. i just hung w/ angela in her room while they were building it. they finished around 2am, and shoshana and i got to bed around 3:30, leaving the room a total mess.
****shoshana and i got stuck in one of the elevators in hubbard for almost an hr****
56 minutes to be exact, we timed it so as not to exaggerate later on, we were smart!
we were going downstairs, for the second time that day, to put bits of our bunk bed into storage. maintenance told us that we had to come back btwn 8-9pm on a weeknight, so we hauled the parts back onto the elevator. we pasted the 4th floor, heard something shatter like glass, and stopped btwn floors 4 & 5!!! we hit the alarm button and called the operator, and she said that someone would come and get us. a long while later, the elevator guy came and opened the doors manually, and gave us a chair to climb up, and he pulled us out. it was quite exciting!!!
sunday was spent cleaning and organizing the room, and making a meijer run for different stuff for the room and groceries. THE ROOM IS DONE!!!! WOOHOOO!!! it looks awesome! i think everyone should come and see it! it's awesome, we have our loft, lots of color, and pictures up on the walls, we have rope lights, it's just awesome. we have a rug and of course covers for that ugly brown lounger.
then sunday night, i had my first APO meeting of the year! i'm excited about APO starting up again, although i know i won't be able to do a lot, cause of my classes. but it's still fun.
today, monday, shoshana and i hauled the bed pieces back downstairs, at 8:20ish to put them in storage, just like we were told to do on sunday night, and the lady said that we were misinformed and that we had to come 7am-3pm on the weekdays! AAAAA!!! this is so frustrating, cause on saturday we went downstairs around 5:30ish, and they told us to come back 6:30-10:30, cause that's when maintenance can open storage. so of course, we went back before 10pm, and that was unsuccessful, and we got stuck in the elevator, so today, we went down for the THIRD TIME!!! and now we have to go back tomorrow....at least we made it back tonight w/o getting stuck in the elevator :)

I BOUGHT A BUS TICKET TO TAKE ME TO GRAND RAPIDS FOR OCTOBER 14-16 FOR CHESTER'S BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!!!!!
i'm so so so so so excited about this! i'm gonna see chester, her apartment, meet her roomie, maybe meet someone special (wink wink to u know who), and just hang w/ chester!!!! i'm sure it will be one of the best weekends this semester!
now it's monday night, and i'm loaded down with more hmwk than i think i will ever get done :(
