Merlin 3x08 The Eye Of The Phoenix!
Picspam and commentary, this is the first time i've done this so i'm sorry for any inane rambling :D
well this episode has started off nicely! You always know it's gonna be a good episode when Arthur gets his top off within the first 15 minutes, this time it was within about 3 seconds! Merlin writers - i love you!
I actually adore these kind of Merlin/Gwen scenes! I loved their friendship in series 1 and really missed it in series 2, hooray for it being back! Now if only Merlin would tell her he had magic and then it would be an even better friendship :D
okay, so you know you've watched the Merlin outtakes far too many times when you watch this scene thinking "colin did a really cute laugh in the bloopers in this scene!"
Is it just me or does Merlin seem to be eating in like nearly every scene he's in these days? haha! I laughed so much at this scene and didn't listen to a word that Gauis was saying, hence the reason i got slightly confused during the Merlin/Fisher King scene haha :P
ahhh! At this point i was going "come on gwen be clever!! work it out!"
woooo! I was totally expecting their first kiss since series 2 to be all lovely and lots of romantic music and stuff, this kiss was a bit understated! Although i think it works quite well coz you are expecting it to be some massive event but it's really not haha :P Can't wait for another one!! Go Arwen!!!
I think Morgana/Katie Mcgrath looks so much better when she's not plastered in way too much make up and ridiculous dark lipstick. How stunning did she look in this scene? Also yay for Morgana using magic! I really want her to cast a proper Merlin type spell soon though! Finale please?
Aww poor Gwen :( they're friendship during series 1 and 2 was really nice to see, grrr at you evil morgana!
Okay so i'm probably gonna say this a few more times but OMG I LOVE THESE TOO SO MUCH!!!! I never thought i'd say this but i think i love Merlin & Gwaine's relationship more than Merlin's and Arthur's :O I just love how confident and cute Merlin is around him and how he isn't afraid to say what he thinks...hurry back gwaine!!!!

"you must be courage?" "er no i'm prince arthur" hahaha oh arthur you do make me laugh! "i do not condone the use of magic" damn you arthur!!! Although, he knows that he's supposed to be courage and then gets told he'll need magic and strength..who turns up during the quest?..can you not use your brain arthur and work it out!!??
ahhh magic reveal! Although sadly this does show that if Gwen were to find out about Merlin she's be absolutely terrified and probably wouldn't be as good friends with him, but Merlin is her bff and Morgana was being a bitch to her so hopefully she'll have a better reaction to Merlin! I wish Gwen would have confided in Merlin about Morgana though :/ They could have bonded more! Instead she goes to see Gauis who just fobs everyone off with some lame excuse, although tbf he did agree with her and not just say she was being silly like usual!
Did i mention that i love these too? It's so obvious that Gwaine loves Merlin but Merlin loves Arthur :P ..poor Gwaine :( Can i just say that this was obviously filmed on a set? It really does not look like a forest haha :P I might be wrong though...answers on a postcard!! I reeeeaaaallly want Gwaine to find out about Merlin's magic, they're friendship is so cute and it would be even better if Merlin could be himself around his new bff!!

I love how Merlin is all like "shall i help you arthur" and looking really happy when Arthur shouts at him and Gwaine is just like "wtf?!" i would treat you so much better if you were my boyfriend
okay so this is where i show just how sad i really am :P I was sitting watching that scene in Merlin thinking "haha they look like Rose and The Doctor!!" I love how Arthur did actually seem concerned about Merlin here :P bless them!
And so to unlock a door Arthur must put his hand in a hole full of creepy crawlies...is this reminding anyone else of a certain jungle type reality show haha!
omg omg omg i think this may be one of my favourite scenes ever in Merlin!! Colin Morgan has barely any lines yet his face and his eyes!! He is such a sexy thing amazing actor :P The Fisher King's warning about dark days ahead, ahhhh omg the finale is actually gonna be totally epic XD
Oh Gwaine you make it so obvious you love Merlin XD aww they're so cute! Merlin only gets a pat off Arthur, it's about time he got some love :D

so these scenes weren't in the episode so Colin and Bradley must have to do some cute posing for these pictures :P lol! I was kind of looking forward to seeing Merlin being all cool on the rock :P

That may have been the most pointless/boring/inane thing to post like, ever but hey ho :P Not sure about next week's Merlin, looks like one of those standard filler episodes and i'm not a massive fan of Gauis...i'm sure it will be great though :D
