In a few days,
coffeeseraph is going to her home state for a week, for her brother's graduation, meaning I will be alone for a week. I'm already planning what I'm going to do with my freedom, and I have two things on the agenda. The first thing I won't mention, because you people will make fun of me (more). The other thing is Netflix.
I figure I'll get through 4, possibly 5 movies, accounting for the delay of waiting for the post office. At the apartment now:
1. Thieves Like Us. Robert Altman's version of the Bonnie and Clyde story. Alex actively dislikes Altman, so this is my chance to enjoy it without hearing another list of things wrong with Altman.
2. The French Connection II. Some of us enjoy chase scenes. And that is why God made 1970s Gene Hackman.
Also, sitting in a drawer for probably about a year now, I have a copy of Breathless my dad gave me. It's time I watched that.
I also rigged the netflix queue. I don't know if I'll get to these, but here's what's at the top:
1. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Apparently some kind of way over-stylized action comedy with Robert Downey Jr. I'm down.
2. Grey Gardens. Documentary about those crazy Bouvier Beales.
Also, I expect to eat a lot of unhealthy food, because if no one sees you eating it, it's not unhealthy.
