It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Well, the whole nation seems to be having some cold storms. And, being just over 6200 feet up in Southern California, it meant my house has been getting a decent serving of snow.

The reason Hank hasn't been posting here is because he has been very ill with a brain tumor. Back in January, January 15th to be exact he had the first of several episodes. These episodes would consist of him being "out of it". He would be incoherent, forgetful, dizzy, disoriented, and would sleep almost all of the time. Each episode would last only a day or two but they really worried me. Due to the fact that his furnace had trouble we thought it was carbon monoxide poisoning...at first but then the episodes kept reoccurring and so we knew it wasn't that. But....Hank being Hank he refused to believe it was anything serious and since he wouldn't remember anything about these episodes he thought we were overreacting and refused to go to a doctor. Well, on May 15th he had his worst episode yet, and he was really bad. So weak he couldn't even sit up in bed, couldn't walk because he was so dizzy, etc. The only difference this time was he was aware. This coupled with the fact that I got really angry and insisted that he go to the hospital he finally relented and went in on May 18th. When they gave him a CT scan they discovered a brain tumor. Since then he's had four operations and is currently semi-comatose in a facility in LA. He's getting better very very slowly but I'm told he is showing signs of improvement. I'm sorry I haven't posted about this before now but it just didn't occur to me. I'll be posting this in a few of his other entries too so more people will see. I apologize if you get this mmore than once.
Please pray or send good vibes or whatever you believe for him. It would be appreciated
