OH GOD DAMMIT. It's little things like that where you just think, really, self? You now better! I'm so happy you like the ending. You were right, it needed something more conclusive. And I threw in the other changes you suggested. You were right, it wasn't entirely clear what Alex was doing and when.

And I'm glad you liked Erik's reaction! I wasn't sure about it, but I loved the surprise kiss so much I had to keep it. I understand what you mean, though, about their reactions all being somewhat in-character. CHARLES'S PICK UP LINES, THOUGH, RIGHT? I wrote that bit while it was still in theaters (I started this almost a year ago), so I had to search for the exact dialogue.

Knowing what a big Alex fan you are, it means a lot that you approve of my portrayal here. Someone else above thought he was too dumb, but hey - no one said this Alex was a geophysicist or whatever! Also, part of me suspects that him picking up Hank's clothes was at least in some small part him trying to keep Hank undressed a while longer. Just sayin'. I do have one slight sequel idea involving skinny dipping, btw.
