Overview of the USA Trip
Am starting to realize that the trip to America is complicated. Lots of details and things to plan. So have decided to put up my thoughts and ideas up on dead LJ so I have a place to keep track of everything.
First! The Big Picture. In general, everybody starts with Adik's wedding in Salem, Oregon. Then the family breaks up for their separate holidays. Mom intends to ruin Adik's honeymoon by staying on. Kak Mi, Kak Za and Abang Rahman want to do the Hollywood thing, which I've already done. So Akak, Abang Hussein, tariq_kamal and I are gonna do a road trip! We're renting a car in Salem and driving it down all the way to San Francisco, with various detours of course.

23 Jul (Wed)Depart KL.
24 Jul (Thur)Arrive in San Francisco; connect to Portland Oregon; drive to Salem. Stay with family at Mom's rented bungalow.
25 Jul (Fri)Adik's wedding prep & rehearsal dinner.
26 Jul (Sat)Adik's wedding & reception.
27 Jul (Sun)Portland and Salem at Leisure.
28 Jul (Mon)Pick up rental car in Salem, visit Ee Lin for lunch in Medford, then take the redwood highway down the coast and overnight in one of the parks.
29 Jul (Tue)Wine country! Motel in Santa Rosa because it's cheaper than Napa/Sonoma but only about 15-20km away.
30 July (Wed)Drive by San Pablo Bay towards Vallejo and motel there.
31 Jul (Thur)All day in Six Flags Vallejo! Drive off to motel (or hostel?) in San Francisco.
1 Aug (Fri)Weekend in SF.
3 Aug (Sun)Depart SF.
5 Aug (Tue) Arrive in KL.
6 Aug (Wed)Recovery day.
7 Aug (Thur)Work for 2 days, then weekend again, phew!
