I just heard a securing story about the Werribee train line from a classmate. Apparently a friend of theirs was catching the train home late at night and a drunk guy got on.
She saw that there were 3 other girls at the other end of the carriage so she moved to that end to sit with them. Safety in numbers mentality.
Anyway she noticed that the girl that was sitting in the middle was staring at her weird so she just ignored her and looked away, talking to the other two girls instead.
Couple stations later, the police got on the train and the two girls that she was talking to freaked out and let go of the girl who was sitting in the middle. The girl in the middle fell onto the floor with a knife in her back.
I heard another version of the same story, the only difference being that it was the Belgrave line and not Werribee.
Either way, I'm not happy catching trains home, regardless of whether or not it's late.
