I did a lot of running around today re errands and appointments. The wind was freezing and brutal so my eyes were tearing up a lot. Then I noticed that the tears were actually freezing on my glasses and my face. Yikes!

I just had a lovely visit with Mike and Susan. I delivered the card and all the loot from Confusion. Thanks to Frank and Joel and the pirates.

So far snowpocalypse is a dud.

I finally had a moment to drop into the cable store and get a new digital HD PVR to replace my dead cable box. I also decided I needed reliable internet at my apartment so I got a digital cable modem/router and now have my wireless network setup. I am extremely satisfied with my technical upgrade. :-))

I finally got around to Dexter season 5. I really enjoyed this season even though I'm annoyed at the last episode. I hope there will be more.

I have booked my next getaway for the last week of March. A 7 night cruise on the Norwegian Pearl going to Honduras, Belize, Mexico and Key West. This time I may even get off the ship.

I have booked my trip to France from September 3-24 this year. The second bedroom is available as usual for visitors.

I spent 1.5 hours shoveling us out - again. Then it started snowing - again.
My back is killing me - again.
I have really had enough of this.

My credit card was hacked so I spent some quality time today switching all my pre-payments to a different card. Fortunately I caught it before any successful transactions were processed. Sigh.

All I can say is thank god for my snow blower!

My method of watching the Oscars is to record it on the PVR and start watching after at least 1 hour is recorded. This allows me to FF all the boring stuff. It is working well so far.
