[And that it is, though the plate of... whatever it ended up as looked like it had been dropkicked, punched, shot, and burnt. All at once. And it looked like the kitchen took some bullets for the food

Aw yeah, it's portal-time from the music shop. He heard the post, but didn't really look at the food, so when he steps out of the darkness, to say that he was slightly shocked would be an understatement. "Wh- What happened?"

Holding up the plate of... food, Xigbar just grinned. It was as if he was completely ignorant to the mess he kind of made behind him, and how unappetizing that the food actually looked. In fact, he looked like he was proud of it. "I cooked. What else?"

Forget the food, that wasn't the main issue here! . . . Okay, well, maybe not forget the food entirely, because let's face it, that's barely passing the criteria for being considered 'food', but what could he have done that resulted in such destruction?

"You cooked? But how did all of that mess happen?" He motions towards the kitchen. "You wouldn't happen to be planning on cleaning up after yourself, would you?"

Mess? What mess? Xigbar turned around, staring at the mess for a moment, before turning back to Demyx. He didn't see a mess, more like a slight pile of clutter. Of course, this was just his way of avoiding the fact that he probably was going to end up cleaning the 'mess'.

"What mess? I don't see a mess to clean." He was playing dumb now.

He sighed harshly. "Oh, come on! Don't tell me I'm gonna have to clean up after you, too!"

Xigbar waved his arms around casually. "If you see a mess, then go for it. I don't see one."

With that, he put the plate of 'food' down, and promptly began to walk out.

Oh, no way! "Xigbar!" Yes, he was whining, but this wasn't even a normal kitchen mess, because Xigbar's definition of cooking clearly needed altering. "Can't you at least, you know, do the basic stuff like dishes or something?"

No, he was not intending on eating that 'food', he wasn't even sure that it could be eaten.

Sorry, Demyx. Xigbar can't hear you; there's two index fingers blocking his ears and a loud humming noise coming from him. And as he continued this behavior, he kept going straight towards the exit. The guy was hellbent on avoiding the clean-up on this, and he'd be damned if he got stuck with helping out.

Just too much work for him. Especially if his masterpiece wasn't gonna be eaten.

There was burnt something that looked like it wasn't coming off of the stove, dirt on the floor, and- was that a boot print? That didn't even make sense! No way. This wasn't his to do, he could barely see the kitchen in some spots. Although, there might be a way to get out of this. Risky, but worth a shot.

"Clean up the kitchen or you don't eat again, II."

He turned to Demyx, and just stared. And it may have been a glare. A fairly unimpressed glare.

Well, he tried. He paused for a moment, then not-so-craftily opened up a portal and ran into it. "Bye!" And then it closed on him.

Damn, what a punk. Anyway, he looked left and right, then at the mess. It was Zexion's problem now, and Xigbar exited, stage left. Or right. Or something.
