43rd doll, locked to housemates

Aug 16, 2011 16:10

*Alice is out early Tuesday morning, where she sees the new propaganda. Her defense mechanism is to do what the town tells her to. Usually, this allows her to stay out of trouble. Fearing what might happen if she doesn't drink the milk, Alice hurries home to chug a large bottle of milk.

As the day continues on, Alice sits down on the couch and begins sewing just like any normal day. However, soon changes to her become apparent. Her temperature spikes. She begins sweating and shaking. Alice doesn't notice these changes in herself right away, only finding minor frustration in not being able to thread a sewing needle.

Little does she know that she's slowly dying. After all, she's only had swift and painless deaths in Mayfield thus far. She also has a high tolerance for pain, and rarely gets sick, so she hasn't noticed her own condition. It might be for the best for someone to check up on her.*
