It is a weakness, and I would have expected you to be smart enough to know that, dear.

It can be used against you, it can make you do the most foolish things, and when it is taken from you it will destroy you.

Though I suppose you can still find enjoyment in it, if you can keep those sorts of things out of your mind.

Indeed, indeed. My life has been a series of humans turning against me, others betraying me, and constant battle and bloodshed.

Of course any woman would be bitter by this point in time. So many dead lovers I can't even count them anymore. Ahhh, but such is the life of a Youkai.

I suppose you should likely get used to it, dear...though I have trouble believing you will live anywhere near as long as I will.
