THE BIRDS!
There's a chaffinch which has taking to parading up and down my window sill, tapping it with its beak, then launching itself back slightly, flying into the window beak first and then repeating. There's all minging bird gunk on my window because of this. It's really quite unnerving, and it especially was when I was reading Lunar Park. Apparently it started doing it about a week before I got back...it's really starting to freak me out. ARGH IT'S JUST DONE IT AGAIN, and I can see its beady little eye through the window...ugh.
