Trimming the tree(s)
I finally was afforded the opportunity to set up my Xmas tree yesterday. I'd planned on procuring a new plastic one as the previous model is about 20 years old. I found a good deal at the Family Dollar *shameless plug* on the tree, ornaments, cards, etc. I must say, it came out very nice considering it only cost 20 bux. I have a lot of leftover ornaments and am very tempted to set up the old tree in my basement. Call me a holiday sucker of sorts. I'm always of the mindset that it's better to give than receive. Trust me, I've given a lot this year emotionally and received little in return. So is life I suppose but I'm more concerned about those cats attacking the trees in my absence. I'm crossing my fingers that all my work will still be standing when I arrive home later :-). Now I have to begin wrapping presents which is a chore I abhor. However, what would a tree be with out packages to keep it company. I think I'll get on that project starting Wednesday/Thursday.
