I think Carrie will come out on top, but I really wish the show would move forward a bit more on stuff Brody knows and hasn't told Carrie yet. I keep waiting for her and Saul to eat Estes's ass for breakfast with the stuff Brody knows he's leaked. :P
What's interesting is how frantic Carrie and Brody got in this recent episode. It's like they get so wound up and they can only release that tension sexually, with each other.
As for Nazir, I really think Carrie sees capturing him as the redemption she's looking for. She's banking all on finding him, and she may well be blinding herself to other ways to get at Nazir besides through Brody. The fact that she's played risky gambles before and won makes me wonder if she'll get overconfident.
And in that way she's actually a lot like Walter, rather than Hank. Walt starts getting careless in his Heisenberg persona, needlessly antagonizing Mike and leaving evidence that he knew Gale Boetticher and the blowback has begun.
For Carrie, the blowback is yet to happen but I wonder if she'll nearly reach for victory, only to have it snatched away when someone fails to do something, just like Brody failing to explode his vest meant Carrie got totally dicked over.
The irony is that if Brody had blown up Walden et al, Carrie would have been proven right well before getting kicked out of her job.
