The filming of the drama finally started. Kazuya strode into the studio room alone to film her first scene for the drama. As expected from a workaholic like her, she had studied the script well and was more than prepared for this following scene. Kazuya listened intently as the director explained what was being expected of her, nodding her head, she immediately got into position.
Even if it was a rehearsal, Kazuya still wanted to put in her best. The minute the camera rolled, the director shouted ‘action’, and the light shone on her, she would be ready.
She wasn’t Kamenashi Kazuya anymore when they were filming. She was Mizushima Yuna. The youth who wished that she could turn back the time and undo her past, so that she would not be tied in a marriage with someone she did not love.
Kazuya is after all a professional.

Jin’s first scene happened to be an outdoor scene, coincidentally with Kazuya. Since it was an outdoor filming, they tried their best to best to not behave too intimately with one another though they could not help but steal each other’s glances every minute besides playing around the set with laughter.
Yuna took a deep breathe outside the gates of Tokyo University, gripping onto her bag tightly before entering the school. It was her first day of school so she was alone nevertheless she hoped that she would make new friends soon.
As she was walking, she noticed a tall and handsome man standing on the entrance of one of the faculties. Yuna stopped in her tracks when she realised that the man was staring at her. It was obvious. Suddenly feeling nervous, she bowed at him out of respect before walking into the direction of her faculty.
Hiroki flashed a small smile, placing his hands onto his pockets, and went inside.
That new freshman certainly had caught his attention, he would not let go of her that easily. He wanted to meet her again, someday, some point of time.
Is this what people call love at first sight?
Chuckling, Hiroki shook his head lightly.
“Cut!”
Jin immediately joined Kazuya in front of the monitor screen, watching their first scene together. They both returned to their original positions when the director instructed to have one more shot.
Filming was tough but enjoyable.

Five minutes to 12 o’clock, they were all given a break from filming to have their lunch. Kazuya walked over to where Jin was waiting, immediately taking a seat next to her boyfriend. She smiled at him cheerfully when he placed a packed lunch in front of her, complete with a bottle of plain water.
“Thank you, Jin.”
If Kazuya had followed her heart, she would have kissed him that instant in return for his kindness. But since they were in public, she had to control her desire. A simple kiss on the lips could lead to something more passionate. When it comes to one another, they could not hold the desire to indulge in just a short kiss, they would want more.
That doesn’t stop Kazuya to flash Jin sweet gazes every time she was with him. Who cares about the stares coming from jealous fan girls? She was not afraid at all, for Jin is hers.
Her lips curved into a satisfied smile as she ate her food in silence.

Today, it would be the filming of the wedding scene between Yuna and Hiroki. Once again the couple was donning the wedding costume they had worn for the drama’s commercial. Their hearts was beating with nervousness all throughout the rehearsal, not because they had to wear the same matching wedding clothes but because the scene was shot in a real church.
It was truly an extravagant sight, flowers and cream ribbons beautified the church almost made it seem that a real wedding is happening. In actual fact, it was just a wedding scene for a drama.
Kazuya took a deep breathe outside the entrance, her right arm holding the actor who acted as her father. Hearing the director’s shout of ‘action’, the door opened wide, the both of them starts to walk gracefully to where her groom stood.
At that moment, she felt that she was not in her character anymore. The man she was heading towards is not Fujiwara Hiroki but Akanishi Jin, the man of her dreams. Walking down the aisle towards Jin was like a dream come true even if this was just filming for their drama.
The next scene, Kazuya had already stood next to Jin, their hands clasped together. Scolding her mind, she forced herself to think of the other as the character he was supposed to be, and not her lover.
Yuna flashed a small smile to her groom-to-be, unfortunately it wasn’t one that came from the bottom of her heart. It was more of a forced smile, being pushed into this scary situation. Honestly, she was really frightened at the outcome of the marriage.
As much as she hated it, there was no turning back.
“I do.” Yuna whispered back unwillingly. Her groom had not noticed the uncertainty in her tone as he was too clouded with happiness. The woman he truly loves with all his heart would finally be his. The exchange of rings was done soon after that.
“I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”
Hiroki closed their distance, bringing them closer to one another as he kissed her on the lips. That kiss lasted for a few seconds before he pulled away and smiled brightly at his beautiful wife.
“CUT!”
Kazuya smiled shyly at Jin. This shot may not be their last since there were possibility that they would have to re-do the scene again nevertheless she could not help but feel hotness to her cheeks. This scene felt too real.
“My gorgeous wife.” Jin whispered, as he kissed the back of her palm lovingly, a mischievous grin plastered on his handsome face.
“Jin! We’re on the set!” Kazuya scolded him but did not pull her hand away, not able to control the smile that soon appeared on her delicate expression. She always loved it whenever Jin teased her.
“Come on. Let’s take a look at the screen.” Jin held her hand, guiding her carefully to their destination. It was a perfect scene for the real life couple to walk hand in hand in wedding attire. The image is just simply beautiful.
The wedding scene in the Church took a whole of two hours. The kissing scene was shot five times, it was more than perfect but since the level of angles is important, it had to be done. It was embarrassing though, kissing each other in front of many people.
Jin however enjoyed it, leaving Kazuya alone with redden cheeks.

It was the filming of the Wedding Banquet soon after the scenes in the Church had finished. To the couple, it does not seem like it was work, instead it was like a wedding rehearsal for them since they do plan to get officially attached in the future.
Like the Church, the Banquet was also an extravagant sight.
“It’s like a real wedding.” Jin whispered to Kazuya when they were filming causing her to blush but maintaining her calm expression. Instead of whispering back, she just smiled. After all, they’re still in their character mode.
When the video footage of the married couple ended, they got up from their seats, ready to cut their Wedding cake. They fed each other small pieces of cake with a smile on their faces. Only Yuna, it had been a fake one.
“CUT!”
Kazuya could not help but chuckle when she saw some cream on the lower part of Jin’s lips. Closing their gap, she wiped it with a piece of handkerchief. Jin took this as an opportunity to pull his girlfriend in his arms, not caring the looks from the staffs and casts.
He had put on an expression that says ‘She is mine’ proudly.

The couple were in the studio as early as 6.30 am to promote their drama in Zoom In corner. The first episode of the drama would air tomorrow night.
“Kamenashi-san. Akanishi-san. Good morning!”
“Good morning!” The two bowed from their sitting position, smiling cheerfully even if it was early in the morning. They have each other at this point of time. That was all that matters. They’re doing all of the drama promotions together.
“The drama Love after Marriage will be aired tomorrow night. How does it feel, Kamenashi-san?” The female MC asked.
“I’m very nervous but at the same time am excited to hear response from the viewers. The one year gap that I had is slowly diminishing. The chemistry of both the casts and staffs is amazing. That’s how I feel.” Kazuya replied effortlessly.
“So how was it acting with Akanishi-san again?” The male MC asked, obviously teasing them.
Kazuya turned her gaze towards her boyfriend and let out a small laugh. “It’s a different feeling since we’re acting as a married couple in the drama. But of course, it’s fun working with Jin again. We’re both supporting one another at the same time.”
“How about you, Akanishi-san?” The female MC asked.
“Honestly, I was truly surprised when I discovered that I would play as the main lead actor. I’m glad though since it was a great opportunity to act again with Kazuya. Communication between us already exists so filming was running smoothly. Being a real couple helps, I guess.”
Kazuya nodded in agreement, flashing out a smile to her lover.
“Right, you two having great chemistry contributes a lot as well.” The male MC stated.
“Really?” Jin exclaimed in excitement while Kazuya looked down in embarrassment. She was too shy to reply to that particular sentence.
“Then let’s watch the commercial.” The female MC said. “What is your character like, Kamenashi-san?”
The commercial showed at the same time.
“Mizushima Yuna is a cheerful nineteen year old who had just entered University. Circumstances forced her to marry with a stranger. At that instant, her life changed drastically. Like any other youths, she wished for a freedom she could enjoy the minute she turned twenty, but instead she was tied down into a marriage.”
“Akanishi-san?”
“Unlike Yuna, Fujiwara Hiroki deeply love her, he had been since the first time he met her. It was love at first sight for him. My character is more like, the struggle of a husband who tried to make his wife love him.”
The commercial ended just after Jin had finished his last sentence.
“Wahhh, the storyline’s truly interesting. So this drama is about the pains and struggle of a relationship after marriage. Am I right?”
“Yes. It’s a touching love story for me.” Kazuya said. “Therefore please watch it.”
“It’s a must!” Jin teased in a playful tone causing the others to laugh. Who could resist the cuteness in him? Kazuya couldn’t, what more the others in the studio?
She loved that childish part of him.

That morning alone, Kazuya and Jin went to several interviews for their drama promotion. It was really tiring moving from different locations to another in a fast pace. Between changing locations, the couple locked their hands together, the smile on their faces never gone as they greeted the staffs along the way.
“Good morning!”
Both of them greeted as the next show started.
It doesn’t matter if they got really tired at the end of the day because … throughout the filming, they have each other. It was due the presence of the other that they were able to have such great strength.
Because of you …

Jin locked the door to his dressing room before sitting next to Kazuya on the sofa. He did not want anyone to disrupt their private moment. His girlfriend immediately leaned her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes and smiled.
“Ah, this feels good.” Kazuya whispered, placing her left hand around Jin’s waist. The latter reacted to that by putting his hand over her shoulder and pulled her closer. He kissed his beloved on the forehead.
At times like this, they prefer to spend it alone, just relaxing to each other’s presence.
Isn’t it a great feeling to have the person you love by your side?

Author’s Note: I won’t be focusing much on the drama that Kazuya and Jin is filming in, just a basic overview to it. I will write a multi-chapter of Love after Marriage (Akame version) in the future, but before that I will start on writing The Life of Yesterday first. So you’ll have to wait. I intend to complete the Price of Fame before starting any new fics. Anyone want some angst for this fanfic? I was thinking of making Jin jealous, some sort of a conflict between the couple. That will spice up this fanfic even more.
