Checking the newly collection of clothes on the rack, Kazuya jotted down something onto the black covered notebook she was holding. She had enough of hiding in the spacious designer’s room all the time, and since unconfirmed rumors of her return are spreading wide by the media, she thought it was useless hiding in the dark anymore, knowing that she would have to confirm her comeback very soon enough.

Right at this moment, Kazuya is prepared to face it all … having to face her former talent company, the media, and the public, due to her return to Japan, and her relationship with Jin. Having Jin back in her life had boost her level of confidence, the one year separation had not just been a thorn in her heart, but also a blessing in disguise as it made her realize that her destiny is with Jin, her one and true love.

There could be no one else but Jin. No way would she let him go again, this time she would not let her emotions take complete control of her. Their love would keep her strong.

Kazuya knows the way the entertainment works, to play it dirty to achieve their goals, but whatever it is to come her way, she will still be Akanishi Jin’s girlfriend, lover and future wife!!!!

The pen on her hold stopped its movement, placing the object higher up to her chin, as Kazuya smiled dreamily at the thought of being married to Jin, the notebook left untouched, holding it to her side.

Akanishi … Kazuya. Hmm, that would be nice.

The ringing of her cell phone brought her back to the real world, chuckling at that dream of hers, Kazuya walked back towards the designer’s room to retrieve her phone placed on the table.

“Hello?” she answered the phone call, with the sweetest tone ever, knowing that Jin was on the other line.

“Sweetheart, what time do you finish work today?”

“Hmm … in an hour’s time.” Kazuya said, glancing at her wrist watch at the same time, it was already 4pm, “Onee-chan is always in charge of closing the boutique so I get to go home early. Why do you ask this?”

“Rehearsal would only end at 7pm; hopefully it would end much earlier, so I was just wondering whether you’ll be at our home later? Would you, Kazu-chan?”

“Well I’ll have to consider first …” She teased her boyfriend.

“Kazuya! No time for that, I want to see you …”

Chuckling, Kazuya merely nodded, “I’ll be going back to my family’s house first to grab some things, and then I’ll go over to our home.”

“Will you stay for the night?” Jin asked, hoping for a positive answer.

“Do you even have to ask, Jin?” she let out a gentle laugh.

“That is great! I’ll see you later then! Love you!”

“Love you too.” Kazuya whispered. She heard a click from the other line, signaling the end of the conversation. Staring at the cell phone, a smile lifted on her face, as she placed it on the table, and returning back to her work.

I can’t wait to be in your arms again.

Glancing at the clock, she whispered, “It’s already 6pm.” Kazuya took a last look on the mirror, before grabbing her sports bag, and headed downstairs.

“Okaasan, I’m going now. I’ll stay at my friend’s house tonight. I would probably sleepover for a couple of night as well.” Kazuya informed her mother the moment she entered the kitchen, as she hugged her from behind, placing a kiss on her cheeks.

“Are you sure it’s just a friend, or more than that, dear?”

Kazuya froze, and was silent to that enquiry from her mother. Softly whispering, “Why do you suddenly ask that, okaasan? And how do you know it’s not a woman?”

“Because my precious daughter is much happier now after what you had been through. You have the love of your life by your side. I can feel your happiness.” Her mother turned to face her, as she brushed her daughter’s cheeks in a motherly manner, “Mother’s instincts are always right, Kazuya. You don’t have to tell me who you are dating with because deep down, I already know.” Mrs Kamenashi smiled brightly.

“Okaasan …” Kazuya felt touched at the meaningful words her mother had spoken of, she was grateful to have such an understanding mother.

“You better go now, or you’ll be late. You wouldn’t want Jin-kun to be waiting for you, right?” Her mother teased.

Kazuya’s eyes widened in surprise at the mention of her boyfriend’s name, truthfully she had not yet told her family members that she had gotten back with Jin. Motherly instincts are very powerful, she thought.

“I’m glad you’ve gotten back with Jin. Two people in love should be together. I’m really happy for both of you.” Mrs Kamenashi squeezed her daughter’s hand, and then hands a plastic bag to Kazuya, “I made some éclair earlier. Share them with your beloved, okay?”

“Thank you, okaasan.” Kazuya hugged her mother again, before heading out of the kitchen, and towards the entrance door of their bungalow. She raised an eyebrow when her elder brother suddenly appeared in front of the door from nowhere.

“I’ll give you a lift, little sister.” Yoijiro winked, as he guides the slightly shocked Kazuya to his car.

Apparently her family knew about her relationship with Jin. She would have to bring Jin to meet her family one day, Kazuya mentally reminded herself.

Due to the lift from her elder brother, Kazuya got to their home earlier than expected, it was only 6.40pm when she arrived at the doorsteps thus allowing her more than enough time to prepare dinner for Jin.

She went straight into the kitchen, in hopes of finding some ingredients for her to cook, but the moment she stared into the nearly empty fridge, Kazuya blinked, and close it back in much surprise.

All that was left in the refrigerator was a couple of beers, and a tomato sauce, other than that, it was mostly empty.

“What did Jin eat all this while?” She murmured, ransacking the cabinet, she saw a whole stack of instant cup noodles in one straight line, “So Jin’s been eating unhealthy food. Looks like I’ve got to move back here soon …”

Spotting a pack of pasta, and remembering that there was a bottle of tomato sauce in the fridge, Kazuya finally decided on cooking pasta for dinner, “Pasta with marinated tomato sauce, that is.” Taking the bottle out, she started preparing dinner, using any other ingredients that is available.

Have to go groceries shopping tomorrow morning.

“I’m home!!!” Jin shouted the moment he entered their home, he raised his eyebrows in confusion when there were no answer. He was met with silence instead.

Kazuya said she would be here, didn’t she?

Heaving out a disappointed sigh, Jin walked towards the living room dejectedly. His eyes however sparked in delight when he saw a figure slumped on the couch. Kazuya dons a white v-shaped chemise night wear that reaches only up to her thighs, her lips naturally curved into an irresistible pout.

Her eyes tightly closed, her fringe covered a portion of her face, and her long brown hair glimmered in the dark, like an angel.

Mesmerized by the beauty in front of him, Jin immediately dropped his bag to the floor, as he rushed towards Kazuya, and sat beside her, slowly and gently inching closer to her. His hand touched her cheeks, caressing the soft skin with love, causing his beloved to stir slightly at that magical touch.

“You’re so beautiful …” Jin whispered, his lips curved into a smile.

Too beautiful for words.

“My beautiful princess shouldn’t be sleeping here.” Jin muttered. His right hand instantly slipped under Kazuya’s thighs, the other under her waist as he carefully lifted her up, ensuring that he was gentle enough to not awoken his sound asleep lover but that one slight movement caused her to stir even more.

Her eyes fluttered open as she gazed at her boyfriend in a sleepy state, as she murmured, “Ji ... n? You’re home? Cooked … dinner.” Kazuya placed both her arms onto his neck. Her head leaned against his shoulder as her eyelids soon found themselves to close once again.

Jin’s eyes darted to the dining table, his heart warmed with happiness as he sees his dinner prepared.

It’s been a year since Kazuya cooked for me.

The table was set for two that means Kazuya too have not eaten dinner, she had fallen asleep while waiting for Jin. He smiled, as he continued the destination to their bedroom.

Once in their bedroom, Jin carefully places her on their bed. He wants to move away when Kazuya clings onto his arm tightly, pouting with closed eyes, not wanting to let him go.

“I’m just going to take a short bath and then we’ll eat dinner together, okay? I’ll wake you up later.” Jin tried to coax her, soothing her back with warm touches, resulting in Kazuya to nod her head in relent, and returned to the surface of the bed.

Planting a short kiss on her cheeks, Jin immediately heads towards the bathroom.

“I’ve missed your delicious cooking so much.” Jin whispered. The couple had snuggled closer to each other in their bed after dinner, Kazuya smiled brightly at the words of appraisement from her boyfriend.

“The fridge is empty, you know. I’ve got to make do with whatever that is available so pasta that is.”

“Well it was always you who do the groceries shopping and cooking. Since you moved out a year ago, I’ve got to rely on outside food instead. There’s no one to cook for me.” Jin pulled her closer to the warmth of his arms, as he let out one small pout.

“Jin …” Kazuya looked up to him, wanting to share with him the decision she had just made earlier.

“Hmm?”

“I have not told my parents about this yet but … I’d want to move back here as soon as possible. I can’t resist living apart from you anymore.”

Jin’s eyes widened in excitement, as he exclaimed, “Really, Kazuya?”

She nodded her head, and smiled brightly at him, “I’m not afraid of what people think of us anymore. Let’s just face the truth, and be happy together. There is no need to hide from the public anymore.”

Jin returned the smile, brushing her hair gently, as he whispered, “Then let’s meet your family tomorrow since it’s my off day.”

“Why?”

“I’d want to ask them permission to date their precious Kazuya.” His heart glowed with happiness when Kazuya nods her head in response, the smile never leaving her face, “One day I’d ask them for your hand in marriage too.”

“I’ll look forward to that day, Jin.” She closed her eyes, “I only belong to you …” Kazuya muttered, as sleep overtakes her completely, her body curled perfectly against Jin’s built body.

“One day … You’ll be known as Mrs Akanishi.” Jin thought dreamily for a brief second, before wrapping his arm around Kazuya’s waist, he too falls into a deep slumber not long after.

Tomorrow will be an exciting day for the both of them, meeting with the Kamenashi family, besides going on a date for the first time in the one year of separation. It will be their first date as boyfriend and girlfriend, a real date they’ve always dreamt of.

It would be just a normal date … like anyone else, yet meaningful …
