05. But Ah! Who needs that sentimental bullshit, anyway // Takes more than just a memory to make me cry

Twisting and turning and walking corridors.  Experiencing things he remembers, but has never REALLY experienced.  There’s a room with butterflies.  He remembers that.  He thinks he would like to see it.  It’s all a bit ( Read more... )

Oh, the butterfly room.

How cruel the Doctor can be, and perhaps unintentionally.

This was beautifully done. <3<3

The butterfly room! I love the idea of the butterfly room. So much. So much. Sooooo much. (Did I mention I like the butterfly room?)

Oh, Doctor. Honestly, I don't see him as the villain or cruel. It's just the cards everyone was dealt, and it sucks, but it is the way of things. And even intentional cruelty (which in my head it wasn't) isn't even that horrible, because it's a really strange situation to be in, so....yeah. tl;dr

Thank you so much. Your praise means the world to me. <3<3<3

That was really beautiful and sad! I love how you take things that are meant to be good, to be happy, and twist them in this. Seeing these events from 10.5's view is...so painful. It's amazing how you took events and shifted them just slightly to make such a poignant piece, so completely different from the way you would expect the butterfly room to feel, or that scene to be meant to feel.

I love the choppy style, too. Just...this is brilliant!

Thank you! So much. I'm so glad you liked. But yes, twisting things is fun - well not fun, but interesting. I have always wanted to do something with the butterfly room, but I'm kind of limited in being able to do that, so when I figured out a way to fit it in, I just got very excited.

Thank you so much, again. I'm glad the style and setting and feel worked. <3
