[It takes a while for Nothlit to get over to Bridge's place, because of the wind, but eventually he manages. He changes into human form, remembering to put on clothes, and knocks on the door.]

[Bleary-eyed, Bridge answers the door and opens it to let Nothlit inside. Spike isn't present, Tom is curled up asleep on his pillow, and Logan Sparky McRuffles the 2nd lay in one corner, looking over at the door and thumping his tail as Nothlit enters.]

... I'm an empath. My powers are channelled through my hands; it's why I wear gloves all the time. Without them, I can see auras around people- colors that represent their moods and thoughts and feelings. And when I touch things with my bare hands, I can- see flashes of where that person or object has been.

[He takes a deep breath.]

Kazahana- she's a friend of Bastet's, don't know if you know either of them- was killed. Bastet asked me to... help investigate her death with my powers.

Thanks, but I think I'm going to be alright. I just... needed a while to process everything. And I'm glad I get to be useful for once... a lot of the time, there's nothing I or anybody can do about disappearances.
