Bad parenting advice administered via Facebook via a "friend" you haven't see since you wore Buster Browns and Tuffskins should be taken with a grain of salt.
This is a sincere downfall of Facebook for me, since just about everyone I am friended by has babies or kids. I am very careful about the population of parents I mingle with as to not totally infuriate myself on a regular basis. Facebook throws my hard work right out the damn window! Status updates like "Kaileighah FINALLY started solds! Wooooo for 3 month milestones!" and "Trayyvorr finally stopped screaming himself to sleep at night!!!! YAY 6 weeks old progress!"
