I just have to get this off my chest.
Ok, Barack Obama is President, the media needs to get the fuck over it.
People in the US are already acting like everything has been fixed.
To the people of the US:
Nothing has been fixed and nothing will be fixed for some time. All the issues facing America currently will take time and a lot of effort from everyone, not just the government, to fix. The economy depends purely upon the people, and if anything, we're more vulnerable now to things becoming worse overseas with the change of command in progress. So things may very well get darker before they get brighter.
Now to the Government:
Democrats get off your high horses, Republicans stop crying. We have work to do. It's time for all of you to put your country ahead of your political agenda (imagine that!). Obama is but a piece in the puzzle for making this country the greatest in the world again, and the whole country can't look to one person to fix everything. The President has only so much power, and without an effecient congress his power decreases even more.
That is all. I may not get to the top of the mountain with you, but base camp has a fireplace and a bar. So fuck it.
