To all City University students taking Advanced Applied Universal Physics and the Theory of Travel in the Fourth Dimension.

Today we'll be going over the material you'll be finding on your final exam tomorrow, including but not limited to Fourth Dimension theories as well as black hole physics and dark energyRemember please that your projects ( Read more... )

[ooc; have a wallflower student. who may or may not be armed justincase.]

Um, sir? Are the Grandfather paradox and Novikov self-consistency principle vs. the many-worlds interpretations still going to be on the exam?

Good question!

I considered it, yes but that many-worls interpretation can be so broad that I didn't feel I could narrow down a specific answer that would be fair to judge everyone's response against.

Thus, it's going to be an extra credit question. Give me a good theory with well thought out and logical substantiation and you can get anywhere from an extra 1 to 15 points, based on what you give me.

How's that sound?

...extra credit will probably be a good thing.

Oh, don't worry it won't be that bad.

I mean, it's not as if I'm asking you to mock up a working model, right?

Though you know, now that I think about it ...

There, there. You're safe. I've already written up the exam for this semester.

However, I don't promise not to keep the idea in mind for next term's class.

...If I don't pass and I time-travel back to the beginning of this semester instead of repeating next semester, is that an automatic 'A'?

Hmmm...

Only if you manage to adjust your travel device so that you can come back forward and catch up with your class. Otherwise it's going to be a B, since obviously we need to go back over the principal that time moves in four spacial directions and you need to be able to move with it.

Is there any way to convince you that I already did that?

Do you have detectable tacheon radiation in your cells?

[ooc: Torchwood canon, tacheon radition is tide to time and thus time travel. :)]

Possibly.

[ooc: :) Rachel IS a time traveler, after all...]

Huh. Color me curious!

However I don't know that the Dean will accept that on such short notice. Paperwork and all that.

It was worth a shot.
Guess I'll have to hope my grasp of theory overwhelms my fuzzy knowledge of physics.
